• While you are able to reach out to DCFS to have your background check expedited there, it is reviewed by the Provider Connections team with the group that it was sent out with so the process is still 4-6 weeks, to avoid delays in your background check, make sure you send your renewal in as soon as possible.
  • When filling out an Application, Renewal, Service Matrix, etc. be sure to include all previous names used to increase clarity and avoid delays in processing.
