W wanted to let you and your team know that the Reduce the Wait (RTW) research project is no longer enrolling families in our virtual autism evaluation program.

We made this decision so that the research team can focus on advocating for policy change during the final year of the project. Once we finish this last cohort, RTW will have seen over 600 families for an autism evaluation. Although we are disappointed that we will not be able to actively see families, we are excited for this next phase of the project so that we can improve the process for all families in EI moving forward. We will keep you updated regarding updates on these next steps and how you can be involved!

Please spread this news to your teams and colleagues in Early Intervention. All families who text “enroll” to the number on the flyer will be told that RTW is no longer recruiting.

We truly appreciate all of you who helped refer families to the project, submitted EI records, completed questionnaires, and answered questions for interested families. We cannot thank you enough.
