We appreciate your ongoing commitment to serving families in our Early Intervention program. We wanted to take a moment to clarify some confusion that may have been caused by overlapping communications regarding provider payment processing dates.
On 10/21/2024, the Bureau Chief informed you that vouchers for weeks dates 09/25/2024, 10/02/2024, and 10/09/2024 had been processed. However, a subsequent communication from our fiscal staff on 10/23/2024 mentioned only the processing of vouchers for weeks dated 09/25/2024 and 10/02/2024. This may have led to the incorrect perception that we did not process the 10/09/2024 voucher.
To clarify, vouchers for weeks dated 09/25/2024, 10/02/2024, and 10/09/2024 were indeed processed as originally communicated on 10/21/2024.
We are pleased to inform you that Early Intervention has also now processed the provider payment voucher for the week dated 10/16/2024. This Voucher has been sent on to the Illinois Office of Comptroller (IOC) and should be visible on their website within the next few business days.
Continue to watch the Provider Connections website for further payment information.
The State of Illinois payment systems must require a few business days to process the Early Intervention fee-for-service provider’s documents once submitted into the data systems. Please know that if there are funds available, we are always working towards releasing payments as soon as possible. If providers have questions or concerns with Early Intervention payments, please send them to DHS.EIQuestions@illinois.gov.
Thank you for your understanding, and we remain committed to providing clear and timely updates moving forward. Should you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
