Early Intervention has processed the provider payment voucher for the week dated 03/08/2023. This voucher has also been sent on to the Illinois Office of Comptroller (IOC) and should be visible on their website within the next few business days.
Please continue to watch the Provider Connections website for further payment information.
Early Intervention is continually working to secure additional revenues to process payments. We are not always aware of when these funds may be released to the Early Intervention 502 Revolving Fund. We also must have the funds secured in the IDHS accounting system before payments may be made. The balance on the IOC may vary from the IDHS accounting system due to pending obligations. IOC is only the first step in the process. While we understand the impact any delay has on every aspect of the Early Intervention Program, we are not able to change the way state processes works. Early Intervention receives funding from multiple sources. The Bureau also makes every effort to reduce the impact of the lack of funds available by utilizing every other funding source possible.
The State of Illinois payment systems must require a few business days to process the Early Intervention fee-for-service provider’s documents once submitted into our data systems. Please know that if we have funds available, we are always working towards releasing payments as soon as possible. If providers have questions or concerns with Early Intervention payments, please send them to DHS.EIQuestions@illinois.gov.
