Providers working under Temporary Credentials are not required to complete continuing education. Exception: If you are serving as a Service Coordinator or a Developmental Therapist under an Emergency Waiver, continuing education requirements still apply. When in doubt, check your credential type to ensure you're meeting the correct requirements.
If your professional license or national board certificate becomes inactive or suspended, remember to notify Provider Connections by phone within 14 business days. Provider Connections: 1-800-701-0995 Keeping your licensure status up to date helps ensure compliance and prevents interruptions in your Early Intervention provider enrollment.
