Keep your IDFPR license active! To provide services in Illinois Early Intervention, you must maintain an active license with the IDFPR. Staying current with your license helps ensure you remain eligible to provide services and avoid interruptions to your credential status.

Moving from a Temporary Credential to a Full Credential? Good news—you do not need to submit a new application. Instead, submit: Consultation Verification Form (CVF) Ongoing Professional Development Documentation Form A copy of your new license, if you were awarded one during your Temporary Credential period

Providers working under Temporary Credentials are not required to complete continuing education. Exception: If you are serving as a Service Coordinator or a Developmental Therapist under an Emergency Waiver, continuing education requirements still apply. When in doubt, check your credential type to ensure you're meeting the correct requirements.
